The Chalet Tearooms
Join us for breakfast or lunch, accompanied with a cold glass of wine or beer from our fully licensed bar.
We offer afternoon teas and handmade tray bakes made from local produce. Why not try a hot chocolate with rum and whipped cream after a long walk around Derwentwater or a hike over Catbells.
Our tearooms are open all year round for hearty cumbrian breakfast or lunch. We source ingredients from local producers (where possible) and takeaways / ice creams are also readily available.
We used local architects alongside Cumbrian craftsmen to design and build The Chalet, bespoke carpenters sourced wood from Low Bridge End Farm (St. Johns in the Vale) including Beech, Birch, Larch, Oak and even Conker trees to help create The Chalet Tearooms in 2012.
